Synthesis of the latest evidence on the HIV epidemic and programmatic response among people left behind in the ESA region
This presentation was given at the regional consultation with sex workers, gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM), transgender people and people who inject drugs for the East and Southern Africa region.
It presents a synthesis of the latest evidence on the HIV epidemic among people left behind in the ESA region and is made up of three major components:
- Literature review and document analysis
- Site visits in Kenya and Namibia for in-depth analysis
- Participation and presentation of findings at the regional consultation
