MSF Postnatal Clubs Toolkit

June 25, 2019

Postnatal Clubs (PNC) were developed in partnership with Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF), mothers2mothers (m2m) and City of Cape Town Health Department. It is a holistic patient-centred model of care that addresses both the medical needs of an HIV-positive mother and her at-risk infant, which also provides peer support, psychosocial support and early childhood development support. PNC aims to provide high quality care to both mother and infant, improving retention, adherence, and patients’ interaction with the health system. This free online toolkit has been designed to help others use and build upon the PNC approach.
