Scientific writing – Conference abstracts

October 25, 2016

For the launch of this course, the first module has been made freely available and marks the start of the collaboration between the Health[e]Foundation and the International AIDS Society (IAS).

The module is authored by the editors of the Journal of the International AIDS Society (JIAS) and based on the previous success of skills building workshops for authors offered by the journal at international and regional conferences.

The abstract writing module has been developed in November 2010 in time for the abstract submission opening of the 6th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention and to assist the IAS conference’s Abstract Mentor Programme. Future modules are planned to extend this course covering research manuscript writing, scientific integrity in publishing and editorial processes.
